Equipment Brokers Unlimited is seeking a Jr Technician to join our team in Chatsworth, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing copiers for shipment following established quality control guidelines, troubleshooting and repairing problem units, ordering parts when required, documenting work performed in inventory system, assisting in warehouse duties when required by supervisor, and the ability to lift 60 pounds. Prior electromechanical knowledge is required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare copiers for shipment following established quality control guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair problem units in a timely and efficient manner.
• Order parts when required to ensure timely repair of units.
• Document work performed in inventory system to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and cleaning as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an electromechanical technician role or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in the use of basic hand tools and testing equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document work performed accurately.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Prior experience with copiers or similar equipment is a plus.
